Jane Garner's working relationship with Triumph goes back many years in her role as a freelance journalist writing about lingerie for trade and consumer publications. She is now working, with Adam Davies of COTC Web DeZign, on the development of websites for HOM and Triumph International. Jane can always be relied on to get the job done, think laterally on our behalf and come up with 101 ideas when required. We are pleased to be able to call on Jane's experience as a versatile writer and her extensive knowledge of the lingerie and men's underwear industries.
I had the great good fortune to work with Jane for much of the past ten years while with the BBC and came across few journalists who rivalled her professional approach and integrity. Her reputation was such that she was invariably granted special access to interviewees that was denied to other writers. But quite apart from her sheer professionalism, she was also great fun to work with. I have no hesitation in giving her services the highest recommendation.
Jerry Johns, former Head of Press & PR, BBC English Regions

Jane has worked for me for 18 months and I have been happy to use her for very different features on a variety of magazines for several reasons. She doesn't just follow but expands the brief, has an apparently endless supply of good contacts, makes sure you get the right pix AND obeys deadlines.         I'd definitely recommend her to any busy commissioning editor - especially as I've yet to find a subject Jane can't cover!
Helen Saunders, The Communications Team, London.

If you're looking for reliability and professionalism, look no further than Jane. In over seven years of working with her, no matter how tight the deadline, how obscure the subject, Jane has never once let us down. That every commission is always undertaken with considerable grace and minimum fuss only adds to the appeal of working with her.
Gordon Miller, Director, Ultima Publishing Ltd, London.

It is not often that the word privilege can be used spontaneously in connection with a colleague in this profession. But it has been a rare privilege to work with Jane Garner and one that I continue to enjoy.         Freelancers tend to give up easily. Not Jane. She is one of that dwindling tribe whose enthusiasm manifests itself in never saying no to any editorial enterprise. A stickler for details with a healthy respect for deadlines, Jane is deft with words and is always ready to "just do it" making any assignment look deceptively easy . She has endeared herself to us by being more than a cut above the rest and her reservoir of journalistic know-how has strengthened the three Khaleej Times publications which I now edit.

Jane Garner is always the most professional of journalists. Her style is always lively, informative, accurate. She has the knack of drawing you into a complex story and putting over detail in an easily digested format.         I have always admired Jane's interviewing technique. She is always well briefed in advance so she can talk knowledgeably to her interviewees without wasting time on irritating preliminaries. She is thorough and organised. But what really makes her unique is that every interviewee feels they have been "properly" interviewed when the notebook goes away - and when the article is produced and printed.         For more than 10 years in public relations for the BBC, the Royal Norwegian Embassy and now as a consultant I have always regarded Jane as my single most valuable contact. I am very happy to recommend her.
Chris Bates, Birmingham

Jane Garner has worked as a freelance journalist for Profile Pursuit Ltd for over three years. In that time I have found her work to be of a very high standard. She writes very well to brief and delivers copy on time and with pictures. She is excellent at giving updates and keeping the commissioning editor informed of any possible problems with or changes to the original brief. I consider her a very able and valuable contributor to PPL's stable of titles and have no trouble in giving her the highest recommendation.
